Box Spring Fail
After trying several times to get the queen sized box spring up my stairs in Chelsea, I had to eventually give up. But then, a friendly Frank at Sleepy's touchy me the ways of the split box spring. Pamp Pamp! No more futon!

If These Walls Could Talk!
We're moving! Yes, it's that time that I fly solo into a new apartment. Erica has lovingly opened her home to me as I search for my perfect one bedroom in downtown Manhattan.

I just received my large storage bins from The Container Store. Phew!

Excuse me while I pack! More updates soon. Until then, au revoir Hells Kitchen. You've been wonderful!

I Die for Tie Dye
After the new Martha Stewart article....
Sarah , Dana and I decided that today was our day to dye. So we hopped over to Lee's Art Supply and grabbed some dye. And then headed to my back yard for some dip dying/ tie dying fun. Here are some of the pics.
This is me, acting like a true KS girl.
Dana and I pose for Sarah's photoshoot.

Sarah drapes her own little number.
Measuring up. Circle skirts galore.

Time to dye!
Dana stands over her products and basks in the glow of good fortune and Empanada Mama.
This project ended up turning out successful. We were not the best at keeping the levels even on the dip dye transitions, so I suggest keeping something that holds whatever you are dying upright. A summer Friday was well spent.
