I Die for Tie Dye

After the new Martha Stewart article....

Sarah , Dana and I decided that today was our day to dye. So we hopped over to Lee's Art Supply and grabbed some dye. And then headed to my back yard for some dip dying/ tie dying fun. Here are some of the pics.

I decided to dye a shirt and my kitchen rug.

The product. This kept its contrast even after drying.

My black dip dyed plaid shirt. This brushed cotton took the dye very evenly.

Dana stands over her products and basks in the glow of good fortune and Empanada Mama.

This project ended up turning out successful. We were not the best at keeping the levels even on the dip dye transitions, so I suggest keeping something that holds whatever you are dying upright. A summer Friday was well spent.
